For this special International Women’s Day event, IX7 Media was invited to capture the energy, emotion, and impact of the Smart Works Newcastle breakfast celebration — a powerful morning of networking, fundraising, and storytelling dedicated to supporting women into employment.
Held at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, the event brought together professionals, supporters, and partners for a morning filled with inspiration and purpose. The video brief was to reflect this spirit and show the real-world impact of Smart Works’ services.
Our deliverables included:
A high-energy showreel showcasing the buzz of the day: arrivals, speakers, panel discussions, and networking moments.
Vox pop interviews with attendees and Smart Works supporters, capturing personal reflections and client impact.
On-stage footage of the dynamic speaker panel, featuring industry leaders sharing advice and experiences around the theme of breaking barriers and lifting others up.
We used professional 4K cameras and lapel mics to ensure clean visuals and audio, and worked closely with the Smart Works team to shape a video narrative that would support their fundraising and promotional goals post-event.
The final showreel was used across social media and internal communications to celebrate the day, thank sponsors, and raise continued awareness for the charity’s life-changing work.
A heartfelt thank you to the Smart Works Newcastle team for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful cause. In 2024, the charity helped over 700 women into employment. Their 2025 goal? Over 1,000. We’re proud to be even a small part of that mission.
